Where to Stay

Overview

Phong Nha is cave country - specifically, home to some of the largest and most spectacular caves on Earth. Son Doong, the world's biggest cave, lurks beneath these jungle-covered mountains, while Paradise Cave, Phong Nha Cave, and dozens of others offer more accessible underground adventures.

Above ground, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park protects one of Asia's most biodiverse regions. The tiny town has transformed from a remote outpost into an adventure hub, but retains its village feel. This is real frontier Vietnam, raw and rewarding.
