Overview

Mui Ne exists for two things: wind and sand. This long stretch of beach on Vietnam's southern coast has become Southeast Asia's premier kitesurfing destination, with reliable winds from November to March drawing riders from around the world. The red and white sand dunes add an almost Saharan touch to the scenery.

Even if you don't kite, Mui Ne offers a more relaxed beach alternative to Nha Trang's party scene. The fishing village at the east end provides a dose of authentic Vietnam, while the resort strip delivers easy beach access and fresh seafood at reasonable prices.
